Step 1: Select your level of cover
All insured persons must be permanently resident at the same address. A partner is a person who has lived with the lead insured as if he/she was their legal spouse for at least 6 months, regardless of gender.
Children are any unmarried Dependent Children (including legally adopted and step children) of the Insured or their Permanent Partner between the ages of 30 days and 18 years (or 23 years if in full time education) who are normally residing with the Insured at the time of the injury.
One unit of cover gives you up to £20,000 worth of benefits. You can buy up to 10 units, which means you can get up to £200,000 of cover.
The amount of benefit payable in the Table of Benefits multiplies by the number of units purchased with the following limitations:
- 1. Any insured person under the age of 16 at the date of the accident shall be entitled to 50% of the amount shown in the Table of Benefits except for the entitlement under Item 2 – Fatal Injury which shall be limited to £2,500 irrespective of the number of units purchased.
- 2.The benefit payable in respect of Funeral Costs does not increase with the number of units purchased.
